Self Lube Bearing Units:
Our Bearing Units consist of a radial ball bearing, seal and high-grade cast iron housing which come in various shapes to suit many applications. The outer surface of the bearing and inner surface of the housing is spherical which makes the bearing unit self-aligning. This will adjust the bearing to compensate for any misalignment from poor workmanship on the shaft or fitting. The bearing is fixed to the shaft by 2 x grub screws on the inner ring of the bearing. All bearings used in our bearing units are replaceable and are available off the shelf. New bearings can be fitted to existing housings to minimise downtime. All our Bearing Units feature:
