Roller Chain Tensioner
Our chain tensioners are used to ensure that chain and belt drives are running smoothly and transmitting consistent torque. During its service life, a chain will stretch and if not tensioned correctly, will become steadily longer, oscillate more and the force transmitting wrap angle around the sprocket will decrease. This will lead to the chain no longer running smoothly off and on the sprocket teeth which will lead to uneven running of the entire drive and supporting wear.
